West Mercia Constabulary has launched an investigation following allegations of illegal movement of livestock and fraudulent claims for compensation in relation to the foot and mouth crisis.
The allegations were reported to West Mercia by Worcestershire Trading Standards and MAFF on Thursday, April 5.
A police spokesman said the investigations were at an early stage and no more information was available.
