A GANG of four escaped with bags of cash after a daylight raid on a building society.
Staff at the Portman Building Society, in St Owen Street, were threatened by the robbers, who struck at about 4.25pm on Monday.
The gang members, who are said to be black and aged in their 20s, ran off towards Barroll Street where they were seen getting into a green Volvo 440 and drive off.
