MORRIS DANCERS -- Leominster Morris Dancers made their annual visit to the Poetstone on Church Farm, Leysters, to commemorate the visit of William and Mary Wordsworth to the Poetstone on October 22, 1845. After this visit the initials and date were carved into the stone. It is believed to be the only place in Herefordshire where a visit by the then Poet Laureate is carved into a stone. The visit by the Morris Dancers is always on April 7, Wordsworth's birthday. He visited a number of other places in Herefordshire
