AN original Chagall for £750?
It's true - 20 European masters including Chagall, Picasso, Matisse, Miro, Degas, Dali, Toulouse - Lautrec, Kokoschka, Ernst and Moore, are on show at Tidal Wave Gallery, Bridge Street, and the Gwynne Street Studios, Left Bank Village.
These original lithographs and etchings, some signed, were printed mainly of the Mourlot Freres, the great Parisian printing house, and date from the early 1920s. They arrive in Hereford by courtesy of the Goldmark Gallery, Britain's foremost print sellers, and find a suitable venue in the stunning new exhibition space at Gwynne Street Studios.
Rick Guest, of Tidal Wave, has selected over 130 of the finest examples of the best and rarest stock. This is a show the like of which has never been seen in Hereford and, what's more, if you spend £950 there's a £100 voucher off a meal at the award-winning Castle House Hotel.
