Eastnor 2nd recorded only their third Worcestershire County League 2nd XI Division 2 victory of the season with a 21-run defeat of Romsley & Hunnington.

Defending just 129, medium-pacer Arshad captured 4-36 and 16-year-old Tom Hurrell grabbed 2-28 to help dismiss the home club for 108, of which P Price made 40.

Earlier, Dave Entwhistle made 39, Saleem, 34, and Naseer, 31, in Eastnor's low total, which proved to be enough.

Promotion-chasing Brockhampton 2nd held on for a losing draw at mid-table Feckenham, posting 125-8 in reply to the home club's 262-5.

Although J Hudson (2-33) and A Sherlock (2-52) were the pick of Brockhampton's attack, D Bayliss struck an unbeaten 81, C Perry hit 73 and A Simpson, 41, to steer the home side to a daunting total.

Andy Carter led Brock-hampton's response, making 56, and Hudson struck 24, but the in-form villagers were never up with the run-rate, against good bowling from W Hinton (3-18), and fought hard to earn their second draw of the season.
