Ledbury nursery Rushfields added to its spring success by scooping a prize at the Hampton Court Palace flower show last week.

The nursery picked up another Royal Horticultural Society award at the event, to continue its successes at the Malvern Spring Show and in London in April.

Rushfields' stand, which was put together over four days by Jenny Homewood and her team, was reviewed by Charlie Dimmock and shown on BBC2 on Sunday evening (July 8).

"We're obviously terribly excited," said Brian Homewood, who runs the nursery together with his wife. "It all went very well."

The show, in the grounds of the palace by the River Thames, is the largest flower show in the world and attracts around 175,000 visitors.

Rushfields hopes to win more success during next week's RHS show at Tatton Park in Cheshire.
