FORMER Hereford United boss Colin Addison is anxious to treat his return to Edgar Street tomorrow as "just another game".

The man who led the Bulls to FA Cup glory against Newcastle and subsequently took them into the Football League, brings his Scarborough side to town in the Nationwide Conference tomorrow (3.00).

Addison, who still has a house in the city, says it will be the first time he has brought a visiting side to Edgar Street in a competitive game.

But he said: "We are not making a lot of it. With respect, it is just another game and we are looking forward to it."

Addison had scouts at United's impressive 4-0 win over Rushden and Diamonds in midweek, and added: "We obviously caught them on a good night.

"It is going to be a very hard game for us. They will be very confident and very high after their performance against Rushden.

"But we have had two plea-sing results against Nuneaton and Hayes so we will be in the right frame of mind for tomorrow, although it will be tough."

United Director of Football Graham Turner hopes his side can build on the Rushden result.

He said: "We bounced back nicely from the disappointment of the poor performance in the first half-hour at Dover, and we needed to.

"We controlled the game for long periods and played ever so well at the back, and defending was the cornerstone to our victory.

"We looked lively going forward and passed it well in midfield."

"What we have to do is make sure we hang on in there and string a few wins together."

United hope to stick with the side that beat Rushden. Willenhall goalkeeper Dave Chapman has signed non-contract forms after injuries to Andy Quy, who could be out for three months with a knee problem, and Lee Rudall.
