SPOT the difference!

Actor Edward Morris got more babies than he bargained for when he started work for Pentabus Theatre Company, whose new comedy Papering Over uncovers the behind-the-scenes mayhem of a television DIY show.

Edward, who became a father for the first time at the end of July, is part of the cast of the show which also features nine different puppets portraying Baby Rhys who finds himself in all sorts of sticky situations as the action unfolds.

Proud dad Edward is pictured holding his six-week-old son Aldo, along with fellow actors Sarah Haynes, Amanda Rawnsley and Will Finkenrath, and a few of the show's puppet babies. The puppets were created by Martin Pearson who made some of Russell Crowe's armour for the film Gladiator.

Edward, who lives in Birmingham with his partner Cheryl, said: "I've been away from home rehearsing and will be touring the country with the show this autumn, so I haven't spent as much time with Aldo as I would have liked - but luckily I'm getting in some hands-on practice playing Handy Harry who ends up changing nappies on his WorkMate!"

Papering Over is coming to various Herefordshire venues during its two-month autumn tour. You can catch it early on at Ledbury's Market Theatre tomorrow and Saturday; box office 01531 633760.
