COFFEE MORNING -- Mrs Josephine Burgoyne, of Mill Stream Gardens, Eardisley, is hosting this year's Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow.
FOOD FESTIVAL -- Gourmets should gather in the Curzon Herrick Hall, Eardisley, at 7.30pm on Saturday to participate in the International Food Festival. Tickets, priced at £6, are available from the Post Office and the Central Stores, and the proceeds are for the Eardisley Festival 2002. Dishes from Cuba, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Thailand and Wales can be enjoyed, as well as special British puddings and a rum drink from Jamaica.
ANNUAL DINNER -- The Royal British Legion's annual dinner will be held in Almeley Village Hall on October 19. Tickets priced at £11 will be available from the Bells Inn, Almeley or from the secretary. On November 8, The annual meeting will take place at the New Strand, Eardisley, on November 8, starting at 7.30pm. This year the Remembrance Sunday Service will be held at Eardisley Church.
CHURCH -- All are welcome to join in the group service at 11am at Eardisley Church on Sunday to celebrate St Michael and All Angels.
