HEREFORD Pegasus Juniors bounced back from three successive West Midlands Women's League Premier Division defeats to record this morale-boosting victory.
Etty Greenhouse opened the scoring within the first 10 minutes and the home side doubled their lead before the interval with a 30-yard Julie Nicholas free kick.
Atherstone pulled a goal back from the penalty spot just after half time but strikes from Lynne Davies and Katriona Tudor rubber-stamped the home side's dominant display.
