Herefordshire's fruity heritage was celebrated in Leominster when 111 varieties of apples and a selection of pear varieties went on display at the town's third Apple Fair.
The colourful scene at the Lion Ballroom included stalls of local produce, apple bobbing at the children's corner and display on old orchards by photographer Gareth Rees-Roberts.
Crowds gathered outside in the Lion Yard to watch Wigmore cider and juice maker Peter Keam at work pressing fruit on his mobile apple press.
"The fair was the busiest yet," said delighted organiser Felicity Norman.
