LONG Distance Champio-nships have ended for this year with excellent Hereford club records set throughout the age groups.
Distance backstroke seems to have been the favourite with several swimmers setting new record times. David Wright (11) (2.56.05), Charlotte Tully (11) (2.56.77), Emma Rogers (13) a backstroke specialist, (2.38.91), and Adam Preece (15) excelled in his 200 back to record 2.29.43.
The records continued to fall in the 400 freestyle. David Wright (11) again set a new mark in the 11 under age group (5.43.70). Nick Tully (15) lowered the 14/15 age group mark to 4.33.09, and Joanna Greensmith recorded 4.48.94 in the 14/15 age group.
