ONLY two matches were played in the Boss Hereford Netball League.
Ledbury Magpies convincingly beat Spread Eagle to stay top of Division 2, while Allsorts gained their first win by beating Beacon Babes 51-36.
It was a good result for Allsorts as Babes had beaten Spread Eagle and H & S and lost by only one goal to Jacks.
Allsorts had a shaky first quarter with Jackie Bundy controlling centre third for Babes, who took a five-goal lead.
Karen Beavan and Lynsey Bounds combined well in the shooting centre to keep them ahead until the final quarter. Then Allsorts came back strongly and decisive passing in the centre court, combined with accurate shooting, earned a first victory.
