DAVID Park finished in a tie for 57th place in the Madrid Open at the Club de Campo, with a four-under-par total of 280 from rounds of 68, 69, 74 and 69.
The Burghill Valley professional stands at 135th in the Volvo Order of Merit Table and will be seeking a top three finish in this week's Italian Open at Is Molas to secure his place on next season's European Tour.
With earnings for the season of E112,388, he needs a good finish to lift himself into the top 115 places of the merit table, for those who will automatically keep their cards.
If he is unsuccessful in Italy he will still have the chance of staying on the tour with a top 30 finish in final qualifying school at San Roque, Spain.
