THE willing helpers from Bromyard and District's Chamber of Commerce and Industry who turn out each year to do the hard work involved in putting up Bromyard's Christmas lights display have already begun the task for 2001.
Thousands of coloured light bulbs have to be checked for fitting into the overhead displays across the street in the heart of Bromyard.
Come rain, high winds or cold the volunteers will be out at weekends to get the lights put up ready for the big moment on Saturday, November 24, when Mike George of BBC Hereford and Worcester will flick the switch.
