PEOPLE young and old turned out for a silent vigil of peace in Hereford's High Town on Saturday.
They were there to mourn all victims of terrorism across the world and to express opposition to war.
The event was organised by Hereford Quakers , prompted to take the action following a recent meeting to discuss the terrorist outrage in America ad the subsequent war in Afghanistan.
There was a good turnout for the peaceful vigil which lasted an hour and attracted people of all age groups.
