Abergavenny Colts 19 pts Hereford Colts 29
HEREFORD'S powerful pack eventually proved too strong for Aber-gavenny, who scored three excellent second-half tries.
The Wyesiders led 10-0 at half-time through a Colin Osborne penalty and a try by number eight Matt Pritchard.
A try each from fly-half Will Bolt and Steve O'Dowd, a second from Pritchard and two conversions from Osborne propelled Hereford to their winning points tally.
The Welshman finished strongly, however, and made the visitors' work hard for victory.
Hereford Under-14 recorded a resounding 32-0 win over their visiting Luctonians counterparts.
Three tries from Simon Sable and one each from Michael Leach, Christo-pher Skinner and Joe Woodrow, added to a Richard Phillips conversion, gave Hereford victory.
Tries from Huw Dunbarr and Dan Berry were not enough to prevent Hereford Under-13 going down 17-10 at Old Richians.
