Bromyard 3 pts Bishop's Castle 3
BOTH sides produced below-par displays as honours finished even in this dour North Midlands 1 encounter.
Bromyard, aiming to end a run of two defeats, took the lead after half an hour of an uninspiring clash through a Piers Gaunt penalty.
Although Gaunt's kick gave Bromyard a 3-0 interval lead, the fly-half also missed several other penalty attempts.
The Shropshire club also failed to convert several kickable penalties before Mark Wilcox eventually levelled the scores in the 65th minute.
Bromyard's young winger Tom Edwards made an encouraging league debut in which he made an important try-saving tackle.
