GREYHOUND bowed out of the FA Umbro Sunday Cup with a 3-1 second-round defeat to Lebeq Tavern Courage from Bristol at Broomy Hill.
Greyhound tested visiting goalkeeper Scott Kendall early in the game but Lebeq went ahead on 27 minutes when Tark Whitcliffe volleyed in from 40 yards. Martin Powell equalised but Guy Silverthorne put the visitors ahead just after the break. Kendall saved a Scott Jackson penalty in the 70th minute and soon after Marcus Bloomfield made the game safe for the visitors.
