MATCH of the day for rugby enthusiasts will be at Mortimer Park, Kingsland on Saturday where Luctonians entertain county rivals Hereford in Midlands 1, kick-off 2.30 pm.
It is the first meeting between the clubs in 14 years of league rugby, although they have more recently clashed in the North Midlands Cup.
Since the advent of leagues for rugby union, it was Hereford who led the way up the divisions.
Luctonians caught up with them for the first time this season after promotion from Midlands 2 West last May.
The sides met at Wyeside at the start of this season when Luctonians won 19-13 in the preliminary round of the North Midlands Cup, avenging their first round 22-5 defeat to the city side the previous campaign.
But there is little to choose between the rivals' league records this season.
