THERE will be a sea of golden crowns in church at Stoke Lacy on Sunday, February 10, as youngsters prepare for the Golden Jubilee.
Children are invited to make the crowns as part of their morning service lessons with parents.
More festivities are planned for the jubilee weekend in June when the new hall will be used for games and events including a tea party, followed by a review of events in the village since June 1952 and a dance and sing song.
The church is also planning a flower festival and songs of praise for the weekend.
