WORDSWORTH -- On Sunday April 7, William Wordsworth's birthday, the Leominster Morris Dancers paid their annual visit to Church House Farm, Leysters, to recite poetry and do a number of dances at the Poet Stone to commemorate the visit of William and Mary Wordsworth on October 22, 1845. A nice crowd of visitors had turned out to see them, Leysters being one of a number of places in the county of Herefordshire visited by the famous Lakeland poet. It is said that Wordsworth got a lot of inspiration from visiting the Poet Stone.
