Kington will combine two special events to form a double celebration as the town kicks off its festival fortnight with a 'past day' on June 8.
The whole town will go back in time as it re-enacts the 'Demob to Coronation' in a day to mark the start of the Kington festival.
Also featured will be an open air performance of Goldsmith's 'She Stoops to Conquer' by the Rain or Shine theatre company on June 14.
The gala day on June 22 will start with the carnival procession to the recreation ground that will incorporate bungee jumping car boot sale and a beer tent.
Entertainment to suit all tastes will take place throughout the two weeks including a tennis evening, a car treasure hunt, an antiques fair, and a Grand Prix evening with radio controlled cars!
