ACORNS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE -- It is hoped that many whist players will come to Almeley Village Hall, on Tuesday, June 18, and take part in a fund raising event for the Acorns Children's hospice Fund. The hospice requires £4,000,000 to build a children's hospice which will serve children from the counties of Hereford Worcester and Gloucester. There will be a £20 prize, plus many other whist prizes, a raffle and excellent refreshments. Whist starts at 7.45pm, so please come and support us and the fund.
