A FAMILY has been robbed at knifepoint in a Ross-on-Wye car park. Police are hunting two men on a motorcycle that sped away from the scene. One of the victims was a child.
The attack occurred on the upper level of Fiveways just after 11.30am, Tuesday. As the family got out of their car the motorcycle pulled up and its pillion passenger demanded money. When this was refused he backed up his threats with a knife. Cash, jewellery, a purse and a handbag were amongst items handed over.
Detectives describe the bike as a 'large, fast' silver sports model with a wide rear wheel. Both suspects wore black leathers; the pillion passenger had a silver full-face helmet, the rider black.
