MADAM, I recently enjoyed a weekend break in your beautiful county of Herefordshire.
While visiting the village of Dilwyn I was shocked to see that the church grounds had been ruthlessly mown.
Not a single primrose, cowslip, daffodil and crocus was spared. Furthermore, grass clippings had been tipped in unsightly lumps around the boundary.
What a shame to ruin the tranquil setting of the church and turn it into an urban grassed area.
