MADAM, Judge Miller's arithmetics and information are at fault (Letters, June 20).
If the cost of the Rotherwas Access Road was £5m per mile it would cost £12.5m as the route the council has chosen is 2.5miles. The present estimate is around £5m for the whole road.
The important point is that it is a road to improve access for the Rotherwas Industrial Estate and while it is not designed to reduce congestion in Hereford it will help and will certainly relieve the residents who live on Holme Lacy Road.
