JOHN Cameron won the Hereford branch of the Fly Dressers' Guild Shield at a bank competition at Witcombe Waters trout fishery, near Gloucester.
Cameron caught a limit bag of four trout, weighing 6lb 7oz to win the competition in gusty conditions from John Traves, who landed a three-trout haul which weighed 5lb 4oz, and Charlie Cooper, 5lb 0oz.
Jon Weaver won the junior section with a trout weighing 2lb 4oz.
Altogether 18 members took part in the competition and caught 25 fish in total.
