A BRITISH Horse Society Cross Country qualifier is taking place at Home Farm in Dulas, Ewyas Harold this Sunday.
Aimed at the everyday rider, the competition boasts three classes and will be ideal for people of all ages and abilities.
The Dodson and Horrell Novice is aimed for novice, nervous horses, ponies or riders, the Aerborn Pairs is good for those wanting to ride cross country with a friend, while the Kawasaki Open would be suitable for riders with more experience or bravery.
The top four riders in each class will qualify for the Championship Final at Richmond on September 7 and 8.
To celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee there will be a Young Riders Points Championship for those aged 25 years and under.
Riders wishing to compete at the finals must be British Horse Society Gold members. For entry forms for this weekend's event click on to the BHS website at www.bhs.org.uk.
