THE Theatrical Management Association has launched its campaign to find enthusiastic members of the public to serve as regional panellists for the Barclays Theatre Awards.

Around 140 panellists are appointed each year throughout the UK to assess productions that they would normally see as part of their regular theatregoing.

The Awards' year runs from September 1 to August 31 and during this time panellists are asked to send in marks for productions they have seen. Successful applicants will receive a pair of complimentary tickets for each local theatre production they wish to see.

To apply to be a panellist, you will be required to write a short review of a theatre production you have seen in the past six months.

If you are interested, and are not professionally connected with the theatre industry, then you can apply by; collecting an application form from your local theatre or calling the Barclays Theatre Awards Hotline on 020 7557 6777.

Hurry because the closing date for applications is July 5! Panellists will be selected during July and August.
