HENRY Langford produced a stunning undefeated innings of 146 off 133 balls to lead Kington 2nd to a winning draw at home to Worcester 2nd.
His innings included 16 fours and five sixes, with the final 46 coming off just 15 balls after he had reached his ton in the Birmingham and District Premier League 2nd Xl Division 2 (West).
The home team was in deep trouble at 62-5 but Langford dominated partnerships of 54 for the sixth wicket with Duncan Morgan (14) and then 129 with Graham Priday (34) for the seventh to leave the final total of 259-7 off their allotted overs. Dave Exall made 27 at the start of the innings.
Kevin Gwynne (5-44) and Priday (2-55) reduced the visitors to 56-7, but then A Levy (95) and D Cook (21) dug in with an unbroken partnership of 113 to finish on 169-7 and steer their side to a losing draw.
Kington picked up 13 points to move above their opponents and into fourth spot.
