ROSS-on-Wye's John Kyrle High School has another success to put on paper - its letterhead logo ensures everyone gets the message.

And even if it's the second time the school's correspondence can sport a coveted Curriculum Award saluting long-standing links with the community, head Nigel Griffiths is no less proud than of the first.

The 'team effort' that's earned the school such national recognition can, he said, take in the town as a whole.

A sentiment shared by Tom Nolan, Chairman of the Trustees of the Schools Curriculum Award.

The John Kyrle, he said, had put forward an 'exceptionally good submission' for assessors to scrutinise.

"This is an honour that can be shared by the whole school and its local community."
