TWELVE gardens will be open this weekend at Peterchurch in the heart of the Golden Valley in aid of St Peter's Church which is renowned for its plastic spire.
Gardens, which will be open on St Peter's Day (June 29) and June 30 from 11 am to 5 pm, range in styles from traditional country English gardens to a display of Japanese style and from German planting to a Buddhist haven.
Some are well established and have been in place for many years, others are still in their infancy and demonstrate a garden in development.
A number also have outstanding views of the Golden Valley. The route begins at the church.
