A GARDEN design course starting on January 25 at Holme Lacy College, Hereford, is perfectly timed for keen gardeners.
At the end of the eight-week course, students will be ready not only to plan but plant up their new garden during the spring and summer.
Taught by well-known garden designer Elaine Wigg, the course also gives a taste of what it is like to work as a professional garden designer and it could be a stepping stone for a new career. Students will be given the chance to test their own soil. They will learn site analysis, plan drawing, working with colour, soft and hard landscaping and planting ideas. Details from the college on 01432 870316.
