A COUNTY company that helped build Hereford's new hospital and magistrates court is selling itself worldwide.
Pembridge based Kingspan Insulation has created 75 new jobs over the past six months, with another 55 on the way.
Turnover leapt 25% last year, up from £45.7 million to £57.8 million.
With the first of two new production lines operational next month and a warehouse open soon, the Kingspan site - already among the biggest of its kind in Europe - can soon count itself among the biggest in the world said managing director Peter Wilson.
Kingspan took over the old Torvale Building Products base at Shobdon Airfield Industrial Estate, near Pembridge, in 1986. It employed just nine people back then, now there's 245.
Kingspan, sourcing most of its material from the county, also recruits and sub-contracts locally.
And made a conscious decision to do so, said Mr Wilson.
"We moved all our operations to Pembridge because we were very impressed by our Herefordshire workforce."
The company's insulation products have been used in major buildings throughout the UK. Closer to home they can be found in Hereford's County Hospital, magistrates court and recently refurbished Sainsbury's supermarket.
