PETER Morgan notched his maiden league goal for Leominster 2nd but it failed to stop the visitors from crashing to a 6-2 defeat against Yatton 2nd in North-East Division 2 of the Gerrard West of England and South Wales Men's Hockey League.
Despite a goal from Ian Johnson, Leominster trailed 4-1 at the break and Yatton continued to convert their chances in the second half.
Hereford 3rd suffered a 4-1 friendly defeat against visiting Whitchurch, who play their hockey five leagues higher. Tim Miller pulled a goal back for Hereford in the closing minutes.
