Madam, I would be grateful to be allowed to use your columns to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff at the new Hereford Hospital for the kindness and care with which they treated us when my wife suffered a major illness over the holiday period.
The speed and efficiency with which she was received and treated were exemplary, and the manner in which everyone concerned, from the doctors to the tea-lady, looked after us both could not have been bettered anywhere.
Truly we are fortunate to have such outstanding people working in our often criticised National Health Service.
