NATIONWIDE League Division Three strugglers Bristol Rovers have been linked with Hereford United duo Michael Rose and Paul Parry.

Rovers boss Ray Graydon saw United lose 2-1 to Yeovil on Tuesday night, and could be set to launch a bid for the two. He even missed Rovers' draw at Torquay United to see the Hereford match.

Parry is rated as one of the best left wingers outside the Football League while left back Rose, 20, is a former Manchester United trainee who has excelled for Graham Turner's side since joining from Chester City in the summer.

John Still, Rovers' assistant manager, confirmed to the club's website that Graydon missed the 1-1 home draw with Torquay United to watch a potential new signing.

He told the club's official website: "He was watching a player at another match, which is why he wasn't at the game.

"The player in question is one I've already seen and know about, but Ray's the manager and he needed to go and see him for himself."

The loss of either Rose or Parry would be a huge blow to Turner, whose small squad is already stretched to the limit, by injury and suspension.

Meanwhile former Hereford boss Colin Addison, now in charge at Forest Green Rovers, has made a complaint to the United board of directors about his treatment by a handful of supporters during the two sides' recent meeting on December 28.

"We all get used to a bit of banter," said Addison.

"But I would like to make it clear that this was different.

"Four or five people shouted foul and abusive language at me - and obscene gestures were made directly at me where I was with my wife and daughter who ended up in tears.

"It wasn't a Forest Green thing - it was personal abuse - and we will be lodging a complaint with Hereford United about the disgusting behaviour of these people."
