'Living Colour' is the spring exhibition at the Foal Yard Gallery, Bransford - a visual celebration inspired by the glories of springtime in the garden and countryside.

Work on show ranges from exuberant brightly coloured paintings by Christine Barnett to delicately drawn, beautifully observed dry point etchings from Vanessa Pomeroy. Fabizia Bazzo's stained glass panels provide a glowing backdrop for the contemporary mouth blown glass vases and bowls created by Siddy Langley (pictured), Jeff Walker and Robin Smith. Those familiar with the work of the Dartington Pottery will be delighted to see one off pieces by their top designers - Janice Tchalenko, Petra Tilly and Avis Murray.

Also included in the exhibition are hand thrown and painted ceramics by Ken and Valerie Shelton; relief cast plaques of flowers and foliage by Karen Huckvale; batik panels from Jo Whiteland and intricate embroidered and appliqud pieces from Jacqueline Ingles and Debbie Bird.

Living Colour - a celebration of spring - runs from Saturday to May 31. The gallery is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
