Weobley Cricket Club wants to recruit young players to represent their new under-13 team this summer.
ECB qualified coaches Steve Bradley and former Weobley High School pupil Paul Williams will help with the team which will play home matches on a special Flycx pitch approved by the ECB.
Weobley's Under-13 team have been entered into a league competition, involving five other county clubs, and they will also be involved in a cup competition.
Matches are 20 overs per side contests on a Sunday morning, and for more details about the new team, contact Martin Peacock on 01544 318322.
The club's senior side are also looking forward to the season and will be competing in Division 1 of the Hereford Times Hereford and District League.
The Herefordshire outfit gained promotion from Division 2 at the end of last season, which was a fine achievement considering that the club did not play a match in 2001.
