GRANT -- The members of the village hall committee at Aston Ingham received further good news last week when they learnt that they had been successful in their bid to the Community Council of Shropshire for a grant from the Advantage West Midlands Village Hall Marketing Fund. They were awarded £500, which will be spent on a new notice board when the refurbishment and building of new facilities at the hall is completed. It is hoped to purchase a glass-fronted, locking board.
