HEREFORD United moved to within three points of lifting the Midland Floodlit Under-18 Youth League Southern Division title after a 3-1 home win over Bromyard.
Second-half goals from Simon Gwilliam, Chris Mortlock and Adam Kite gave table-topping United a hard-fought victory in their quest for the championship.
Meanwhile, Wellington appear destined to claim the runners-up spot after a hat-trick from the prolific Mike Craig and goals from Craig Sewell (2), Ross McMillan and Parsons inspired the second-placed villagers to a 7-0 home victory over Evesham.
