Leominster Town 3 Chaddesley Corbett 4
LEOMINSTER fought back to level on three occasions but were ultimately forced out of the West Midlands League Division 1 Supplementary Cup by a goal in extra time of an exciting first-round tie.
There was an explosive start with Chaddesley taking the lead in the fifth minute when a half clearance fell to Craig Pratt who gave the home goalkeeper no chance with a screamer from just outside the box.
Within minutes Leominster equalised when Neil Bennett's corner was headed on by Chris Price and forced home at the far post.
The visitors regained the lead with a close-range tap-in from an unmarked Gavin Davies, but just after the restart Leominster were again back on terms when Daniel Rocke found the net with a perfectly judged lob over the advancing goalkeeper.
Midway through the half Stuart Jordan put Chaddesley back in front, but Rocke headed home a Lee Langford cross to take the tie into extra time.
Richard Burton scored the goal that took Chaddesley into the second round when Lines failed to hold on to a hot shot, the ball dropping kindly for Burton to slide home.
