FOREST of Dean District Council has appointed new representatives to community groups. Newent councillor Des Saunders will represent the council on Newent Association for the Disabled, while John Clissold (Newent Central) and Martyn Vick (Oxenhall and Newent North East) will serve on the Newent Initiative. Newent Sports Centre representatives are Ted Roberts (Bromsberrow and Dymock), Des Saunders and Martyn Vick. Councillors Ted Roberts and Will Windsor Clive (Redmarley) will serve on the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Joint Advisory Committee.
