MID Wales Women's Bowling Association fly the flag for Wales by representing all four categories in the British Isle Competitions to take place in Ballymena until June 24.
Pair Betty Morgan and Jenny Daviesplayed their first match was yesterday against England. Today, Betty Morgan will be playing singles against either England or Ireland. She will then join Jenny Davies and Margaret Hopkins for the triples against Jersey. All come from Llandrindod Wells.
Kathy Pearce, Isabel Jones, Hazel Wilson and Caroline Taylor start their challenge in a semi final match against Jersey in the fours today.
The international matches start on Saturday with Wales' first match being played against Ireland. The above members of Mid Wales Womens Bowling Association will be joined by Wendy Price and Shirley King from Llandrindod Wells and Caroline Jones from Llanidloes. The rest of the 26-man squad is made up from other counties in Wales.
