A PROJECT to help revitalise Goodrich Village Hall has been awarded £70,867 by Lottery distributor the Community Fund.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to help upgrade this listed building", said Graham Frecknall. "The hall lies at the heart of the community and we hope the facilities will attract even more people.''
The grant, which will be paid over three years, will be used to put in new lighting, heating and toilets. The hall will be re-decorated and access for disabled people will be improved, including an audio loop in the main hall.
