The Lullaby of Broadway and music from Harry Potter will sound out to help bring fresh water supplies to disabled children in Uganda.

The Music from the Shows will be playing at Hereford's Shirehall on September 26, presented by Herefordshire Symphonic Wind Band and the 'Off Broadway' Singers.

There'll be a host of recognisable melodies from the King and I to Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and the Sound of Music.

The concert is being sponsored by Hereford Wye Valley Rotary Club in aid of a local charity - FOAG (Worcestershire Farmers' Overseas Action Group). This group has, for more than 20 years, supported projects in Uganda.

Monies raised from this concert will be managed by FOAG to provide fresh water supplies at a vocational school for disabled children.

Tickets costs £6 and are available from Wye Valley Rotary Club members, Outback record shop in Church Street, Hereford, or on the door on the night.

The concert starts at 8pm on Friday, September 26.
