IT WAS a purrfect end to national cats week as nearly every homeless feline was promised a home during the opening of Hereford Cats Protection new shelter.
The open day raised £2,700 for the charity and there was more than £100 in donations of cat food, litter and trays. Forty-five cats in the shelter have now been promised homes with only four left.
