IT was a nervous moment for the Bishy Boys as the Bullit closed in seconds behind them.
The Bishy Boys made it over the finish line at the bottom of Little Dewchurch's Soap Box Derby 'speedy hill course' just 15 seconds in front of Neil Williams.
The 'push course' was just as tense. Most soap boxes had three runs at it, with some runners exhausted after two goes, but Leo Weager's FWW3 made it through first go, closely followed by the Bishy Boys.
The Soap Box Parade was judged by Herefordshire councillor Stuart Thomas, who had the tricky task of awarding trophies to the best outfits.
The day raised £900 for the village bell project.
