TELEVISION chef Sophie Grigson will use local award-winning produce to create mouth-watering meal ideas at the annual Heart of England Fine Foods (HEFF) Festival of Food and Drink at Eastnor Castle on October 4 and 5.
A great fan of regional food and drink, Sophie often uses new and exciting ingredients and will run three demonstrations and pass on top cookery tips.
Other family entertainment includes HEFF's own Get Set Cook competition and a cookery school with interactive demonstrations.
Visitors can learn how to prepare and cook a Michaelmas goose and for wine connoisseurs, a local vineyard owner will run English wine tastings.
"This event has grown year on year, and has developed into something really special, with something for all the family to enjoy," said HEFF project officer Sarah Starkey.
"We have a record number of food and drink producers booked to come. For the first time, local producers will run an interactive cookery school accompanied by video footage.''
